"I went in expecting the site..."
I went in expecting the site to make shopping easier, but it felt like a bait and switch. The filters barely work, so you still end up digging through a bunch of stuff you didn’t ask for, and the pages load so slowly that it gets frustrating fast.
"Fees were literally confusing"
The fees didn’t really show up until later, and I was confused. They ended up being literally way higher than I expected, which was frustrating

"Shipping was all over the place"
The shipping part was a mess for me. The delivery date kept changing, the tracking updates didn’t make much sense, and I felt like I was constantly trying to figure out when the car was actually going to show up.
I also got really tired of having to verify the same details over and over like nothing was saved from the last time. I kept asking for updates, but it seemed like nobody had a straight answer. Maybe other people had a smoother experience, but mine was frustrating.
"Payment process needs to be clearer"
Paying on Salvagebid was way more confusing than it should’ve been. After I won, I expected a straightforward checkout, but instead there were extra steps and fees that didn’t feel clearly explained upfront.
I kept bouncing between emails and my account just trying to figure out what I owed and where to send it. That’s not okay when people are dealing with real money. They need to take responsibility for making the payment process clear from the start, because right now it feels messy and unnecessarily stressful.

"Still waiting on my deposit refund"
Yeah, I’m still waiting to get my deposit back. The refund process has been slow, i don’t think I’ll be using them again.

"The car was not in the condition they..."
The car was not in the condition they claimed it was. It’s frustrating because people rely on accurate descriptions before making a decision, and it doesn’t feel right to leave out or downplay issues. Overall, it just wasn’t as described.

"Setting up my account was honestly frustrating"
I still remember sitting there just trying to get my account set up and verified, thinking it would be a quick thing. Instead, the uploads kept acting weird, the instructions felt unclear, and I ended up waiting around not even knowing what I was missing. I reached out to support, but that didn’t really make things any easier. It left me annoyed and gave me a rough first impression
"Costs way too much for what it is"
The fees kinda piled up quick, and by the end I was like… this really wasn’t worth what I paid. Didn’t feel like I got much help out of it at all. Probably won’t use it again

"Support really needs to be faster"
I had to contact Salvagebid support recently, and to be fair, I understand support teams can get busy and not every issue gets solved instantly.
That said, the response time was way too slow, and when they finally got back to me, it felt like they hadn’t really read what I wrote. I ended up having to explain the same problem more than once, which was frustrating.
I’m sure the site may work fine for some people, but if something goes wrong, I think it’s only fair to expect timely and helpful support. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t be in a hurry to use them again.

"The waiting really got to me"
The payment and paperwork took way longer than I expected. I kept checking for updates and noticed even little things, like the same status sitting there day after day with no real change. After a while, the waiting felt more stressful than the actual transaction. I just wish communication had been clearer and quicker.

"Bidding felt really confusing"
Umm, I thought I had the bidding process figured out, but then more steps and extra fees started popping up afterward. The site doesn’t really explain everything clearly before you click through. Maybe that’s just how salvage auctions work, but as a new user it felt confusing and a little misleading. It wasn’t a great experience for me

"Didn’t feel trustworthy enough"
I signed up for Salvagebid thinking I’d take a look around, but quickly I started feeling uneasy. I had questions about the fees, bidding rules, and what happens if there’s an issue after payment, and the answers I found didn’t always line up.
One page would make something sound a certain way, then another section or support response seemed to say something slightly different. That kind of inconsistency really bothered me, especially when money is involved. Maybe it works fine for people who already know the process, but I wanted things explained more clearly before putting anything down.
In the end, I backed out because I just didn’t trust it enough. I’m not saying everyone will have the same experience, but for me it felt too unclear and inconsistent, so I wouldn’t use it again.

"Title paperwork took forever"
I bought a car through them the title paperwork was such a headache. I kept having to reach out for updates, and it felt like nobody could just give me a straight answer. They said it would take a certain amount of time, but it went way past that. For me, it just wasn’t worth all the stress, and I don’t think I’d use Salvagebid again.

"Bad communication from start to finish"
The communication was just bad the whole time. I emailed them and barely got any replies, then when I tried calling, I kept getting passed from one person to another. No one seemed to know what was going on, and I had to keep explaining the same thing over and over. It was frustrating because all I wanted was a clear answer, but the lack of communication just kept being a problem.

"Am I the only one who’s had a..."
Am I the only one who’s had a dispute feel like a total waste of time? I had an issue with my bid and tried to get it looked into, but support just kept sending me the same copy-paste type replies. Nobody really seemed to actually help or check what happened. it felt like they had already made up their mind before even reviewing anything...

"Felt limited and not really worth it"
I signed up thinking I’d be able to jump into more auctions, but a bunch of them were locked or had extra steps before I could even do anything. It got frustrating quickly, because they make it look like there’s all this access, and then you’re kind of just stuck looking at cars you can’t really get to.
The inventory didn’t impress me much either. A lot of the listings felt picked over, had more damage than I expected, or just didn’t seem worth the fees once I looked closer. Maybe it works better for other people, but for me it mostly felt like I wasted my time
